Call me a marketing nerd, but I love seeing what other companies are doing with their marketing and reading in-depth articles about specific topics. I hope this recap inspires you to think more creatively about your business’ marketing, so without further ado, here are some of the best articles I read this month:
For the e-commerce and retail folks: Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales set a new record this year. Shopify says that sales on its platform increased by 76% compared to the same time last year, and Amazon saw a 60% increase in marketplace sales.
With everything that has happened in 2020, it might be easy to forget who was canceled this year. Don’t worry, here’s a list of the 9 biggest cancels of 2020.
The United Kingdom kicked off COVID-19 vaccinations, with the United States following suit soon after. This article was an insightful look into what might happen if the creator economy had a “middle class”, and how to get there.
Last but not least, I was one of 10 entrepreneurial womxn asked to share social media hacks that work (and those that don’t), over on the Create & Cultivate blog.
See you in the new year!
